Now you can create financial goals at MyFinanceX!
It has been months since the last newsletter from us. As we have informed you earlier, we would send newsletter e-mail very occasionally, which is only when there are an important updates or happenings at MyFinanceX, simply because we don't want to load your mailboxes. Surely all of us have received more e-mails than we can read everyday, right?
Enough of the introduction, let's get straight to the few but exciting updates we can't wait to tell you about.
1) Create real-time financial goals
Are you still wondering, based on your current financial habits, when can you have $20,000 in your Savings jar? Or how much you need to save per month to reach the target of having $10,000 in your Fun & Leisure jar to go to Tokyo Disneyland with your family by early next year? Well now you can create financial goals at MyFinanceX! There are 2 types of goals you can create; one is time-based, where you set your target amount and date, and our system will automatically calculate for you how much you need to save every month to reach your goal, based on your current spending habits, and the second one is amount-based, where you set a target amount and estimated annual income increment, and MyFinanceX will automatically calculate for you (again, based on your spending habits), when you will reach the goal. Our development team worked hard to make this feature available to all of us, so we really hope you will find it useful. In addition, you can create a 'financial badge' for the goals, where you can put it in your blog, website or favourite forum to display your goals' progress, in real time!
2) Personalize your dashboard
Your home page (or dashboard) can now be personalized based on your preferences. Simply go to My Settings > My Dashboard and you can choose which of your financial information should be displayed and in what order.
Other updates are we fixed and improved several interface issues. And as always, we would really appreciate any feedback from you, or valued users. If you have anything good or bad to say (or perhaps you just want to say hi!) about MyFinanceX, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@myfinancex.com.

New and exciting updates at MyFinanceX!
Firstly we would like to apologize with the downtime to MyFinanceX that happened about a week ago. We were in the process of migrating our server, and we expected only a short downtime, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the downtime was longer than expected. However we have fixed all problems and hope that MyFinanceX will run faster and smoother than ever.
Bad news aside; we have added several new functionalities to MyFinanceX that we are excited to tell you about:
1) 'My Tools' are now added
'My Tools' are now added, which currently comprise of 2 tools, one to create reminders (complete with e-mail reminders) to help you remind anything, especially to make payment or any other important things, and another to search for your previous expenses. Take note that in order to use e-mail reminders, you will have to verify your e-mail account by going to 'My Settings' and click on the 'Send verification code' after you have logged in.
2) Tag your expenses as tax-deductible!
You may now tag your expenses as tax deductible. Simply click on the checkbox under the '- tax' at the right side of the expenses you wish to tag as tax-deductible. Later you can use the search function under 'My Tools' to search for your 'tax deductible' expenses, which we hope will tremendously help you when the time comes to do your annual Income Tax submission.
3) Upload your receipts to MyFinanceX!
You may now upload your receipts to MyFinanceX! You may upload the scanned image of your receipt, but please make sure it's in the format of either gif, jpeg or png and the size doesn't exceed 200KB. Currently you may only upload a single receipt image for a selected date. This function is actually a complement of the 'tax deductible' tag function above, where in most countries you will have to supply a receipt of any tax deductible expenses you wish to claim. This will surely come in handy as your receipt is now stored in MyFinanceX and when the time come, you may just download your receipt back if the original is lost. Take note that on certain countries, you still have to provide the original receipt for your tax claims.
4) Updates on MyFinanceX Mobile
MyFinanceX mobile has been updated so that it works better with most mobile browsers. Alternative login (using session instead of cookies) are now available. Simply point your mobile browser to http://www.myfinancex.com to experience a simple and effective mobile money management.
5) Other updates
- Under 'My Expenses > Daily Expenses', dates with saved expenses are now highlighted with a dark border. You may now know which dates you have your expenses recorded or not by just looking at the calendar.
- My Categories is now under 'My Money Jar' tab.
- Monthly chart is changed to 'Monthly Charts & Reports' - You will now be displayed the comparison (in text) the spending between the selected month and the previous month, and the previous 3 months' average.
Finally we are still working on adding several more functionalities to MyFinanceX to make your money management journey more enjoyable and more effective, without sacrificing MyFinanceX's ease of use. If you have any idea on what to add or any other things you think would make MyFinanceX better, we really would love to hear from you. Just e-mail to us at feedback -at- myfinancex.com

However running, maintaining and developing MyFinanceX needs funds, and currently these ads are our only way to get these funds. So if you find any of the ads interesting, please click on these ads. Please don't think a single click from you doesn't mean anything to us; it does, and it does mean really big to us.
Or you could totally remove the ads by making a small contribution thru PayPal to us by going to the donation link found at the bottom of MyFinanceX website. As we said again and again, this is the much better option.
